Looking for a math tutor who actually makes things click? I offer one-on-one online tutoring for students at the secondary school, pre-university, and undergraduate levels — built around the same philosophy behind this whole site: math people are lazy. That means I’m not interested in drilling you with rote algorithms. My goal is to show you the cleanest, most efficient way to think about a problem, so that the “hard” questions start to feel obvious.

How sessions work
- Format: Live, 1-on-1 lessons over Google Meet — no commute, no scheduling around traffic. A unique meeting link is generated automatically when you book.
- Length: Typically 1.5 hours, weekly or as needed (exam-season intensives also available).
- Materials: Personalised notes and worksheets, shared digitally via Google Drive before or during the lesson. Each student receives their own private folder with all session materials organised by topic.

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. Your booking is provisional until payment is received. Please complete payment within 2 hours of booking to secure your slot — unpaid bookings will be released. Single sessions can be paid via card or PayNow; monthly packages via card only. Booking & Payment Terms
Single Sessions
- Bookings are provisional until payment is received. Please complete payment within 2 hours of booking via Stripe. Unpaid bookings will be released after 2 hours.
- Cancellations with 24+ hours’ notice: full refund.
- Cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows: no refund.
Monthly Packages
- Full payment via Stripe is required before the first session.
- Refundable in full up to 24 hours before the first lesson.
- Once the first lesson commences, no refunds will be issued for remaining sessions in the package.
- Sessions are scheduled by the tutor following confirmation of payment, at a fixed weekly timeslot.
- Unused sessions within the month are forfeited and do not carry over to the following month.
General
- Lateness: If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session may be shortened or counted as a no-show.
- Overbooking: Monthly packages cover 4 sessions within a calendar month (1 per week). Only the first 4 sessions will be honoured. Any additional bookings beyond 4 will be cancelled and refunded at the per-session rate.
- Materials: All notes, worksheets, and recordings provided are for the student’s personal study use only and remain the intellectual property of Joel Q. L. Chang / Joel Kindiak / KindiakMath. They may not be redistributed or resold.
- No guaranteed outcomes: While I am committed to helping you understand the material as deeply and efficiently as possible, exam results and grades depend on many factors beyond tutoring and cannot be guaranteed.
The above is a general summary of my working terms and not a substitute for a formal agreement. For long-term or group arrangements, a short written agreement can be provided on request.
